It all began with a burst!

A burgeoning curiosity to begin revealing an incomprehensible, hidden, and infinitely abundant interconnectedness between all humans and nature.
The mycorrhizal networks below and the interlinked aerial branching and reinforcements above yield space for us to nourish our cores. Inspired by Peter Wohlleben's The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate-Discoveries from a Secret World and the Radiolab episode Forests on Forests (which sparked the curiosity of exploring a meta and bustling mini world in the trees), this project collected work from over twenty artists and fifty workshop participants. It accrued over one-hundred audience members. We collaborated with Concordia University's Centre for Creative Reuse (CUCCR) and Concordia Precious Plastic Project (CP3) to supply innovative materials during our workshops.
The project consisted of the following artists:
Scott Cowan
Marie Lemieux
Marin McMillan
Nini Wang
Maia Manshadi
Sarah Al Mamoun
Renee Kennedy
Oscar Wilder
Gaia Pawar Shapiro
Melannie Jonas-Ng
